Evridiki Pericleous-Papadopoulou, born in Nicosia, Cyprus, is a poet, prose writer and playwright. She has published many books and her literary work has received many honours. Her plays have been staged in Cyprus and in Greece, the United Kingdom and Germany. Her novels serve as the postscript to the tragedy of a politically divided Cyprus.
